Simplification of Financial Accounting (SOFA) is a site created for students offering financial accounting or those who may wish to pursue career in accounting. It is created to provide a broad understanding of financial accounting for people across the levels ( beginners, preparers, and users of financial accounting).

The accounting information provided is in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)  to help learners of financial accounting in bridging the gap between the ingenious accounting methods and the international accounting standard procedures.

The account tutorial guide is in three categories which are; ACC 111 & 121 which is for Secondary School students and those in year one (100 Level), be it University, Polytechnic or College of Education or their equivalents. ACC 211 & 221 is for the students in year two (200 Level) in tertiary institutions.. ACC 311 & 321 is titled Intermediate Accounting which is year three (300 Level) course in Universities or at HND level in Polytechnics. The tutorial is designed to simplify all topics attributed to each level in a way that will encourage and support self-learning.

Also embedded in each page is the video tutorial as each of the topics discussed on this site also have their video tutorials which are uploaded on our Youtube Channel "  https://www.youtube.com/c/SOFAccountingTutorial " to provide broader understanding of each of the topics.
